Please include the following:
1. Completed application form
2. Copies of supporting documentation
3. Check or Money Order for $25.00 application fee
Your application will be reviewed within sixty days from the date received. You will be notified by mail of the board's decision. Your copies of documentation will not be returned, but kept on file. If for any reason the application is rejected, you will receive a full refund of the application fee and your documentation copies returned.
A broad range of documentation will be acceptable to qualify an applicant for the memorial. They include but are not limited to State Archives, Republic of Texas Archives (pay vouchers, land certificates, etc.) or first hand written accounts stating that an individual served with a particular Ranger unit.
Those who require assistance in obtaining documentation are encouraged to contact the Library of the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum in Waco, Texas. They possess a vast database of persons who served in the capacity of Texas Rangers throughout Texas history.
